Internal Technical Consultant LIMS

Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an experienced LIMS Technical Consultant to join our friendly Technical Services team, within a fast growing software company. The successful candidate will be involved in the implementation and delivery of innovative software systems in a wide variety of industries and organisations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Understanding and documenting functional requirements and getting sign-off from stakeholders.
- Configuration of developed software for base and internal systems; including the use of reporting tools such as Crystal Reports to design the customer specific reports and extension to other products as needed e.g. Microsoft PowerBI.
- Maintaining project documentation.
- Provision of training courses when required.
- Provide support to customers via email, phone and site visits when necessary.
The successful candidate will receive training on our software and configurations tools, as well as 3rd party software packages. A competitive salary will be offered dependant on experience, including benefits such as private healthcare.
Experience and Skills
- Good understanding of Relational Databases
- Structured Query Language (SQL)
- SQL Server / Oracle
- Laboratory experience
- Crystal Reporting
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer facing skills
- Fast learner
- Full driving licence as some travel may be required
- Net coding (Not mandatory)
